I taught middle school for 38 years before retiring in 2020. My main focus from 1998 was in Technology. I was the pilot teacher for the first online grade book in 1999. I was responsible for training all the teachers at my campus as well as other campuses. In 2007 I was the pilot teacher for Canvas and was responsible for helping train other teachers at my campus. Even now 2023 I field questions from current teachers on using Canvas.

I taught students as well as teacher professional development how to use MS Office products. The most enjoyable was teaching MS Excel. My students would create multiple different documents just using the basic cells to create a document, then beginning formula use they then had to figure out how to create a formula for data within the class.  I used MS Word teaching how to set margins, headers/footers, paragraphs, tab stops and how to make a document tailored to the need for other classes.
