A motivated single mom of two children, is at the point in life where her youngest is beginning first grade and is eagerly seeking employment as a ParaEducator. As a mom, I have experience in raising and motivating children, budgeting with limited resources, tutoring my children on their studies so that they have the knowledge to become self sufficient, good people and contributing citizens.
Dealing with my mothers illness was life changing. I cared for her every day. I learned how to prioritize her needs. Time management was essential.

In 2003, I was a junior in High School. Living life, hanging out with friends, looking forward to becoming a senior and life suddenly changed. My mom, my best friend and confidant was diagnosed with lung cancer. I didn't know what to say, feel, ask or do. We weren't told much of anything about mom's cancer. Time went on and she got very thin and tired. I was so scared of what I didn't know. We all rallied and made Mom our priority. We helped care for her every day.
I graduated high school in 2004 and mom was there. It was supposed to be a really big deal, not for me. She was looking weak. I enrolled in Rob Roy Academy and started classes. My dad insisted I go.
In late September, Mom took a turn for the worse and was hospitalized. Dad brought the three of us to the hospital and told us that it wasn't good. We were traumatized as we thought she would get better and on September 28, 2004, God gained an angel. I never returned to school.
Eventually, I started doing some living and had my son, Caden Matthew in 2007. I raised him with the help of Dad and family. I tried to work a couple of times, but childcare wasn't working for us, so I became a stay at home mom. My daughter, Maddison Rene, was born in 2016 and is entering first grade this year. A position like this would allow me to pursue a work life and home life balance and be there for my daughter.
