I am a graduate of the Business Communications program with honours at Brock University. I’ve worked at a variety of jobs, including working at Hillfield Strathallan College’s summer camp as a counsellor and my most recent position, that being an advisor at Best Buy for customers. These positions have led me to having great communication skills with a wide variety of ages and personalities. I have played soccer at a very high level for essentially my entire life, so I understand the importance of hard work ethic in order to achieve my goals. I am an extremely motivated person and my commitment and work ethic will not go unnoticed. I am a friendly sales advisor that is knowledgeable about various products and skilled at connecting customers with any solutions needed. I am also adept at listening to needs and conveying information to them in the easiest ways so that they understand. However at the same time, I can offer amazing sales and service expertise that will allow me to close the sales. In addition, I was compassionate and dedicated camp counsellor with a diverse youth activities background that allowed me to be organizational, have great time management and communications skills which lead to to positive outcomes for the job and everything going forward. I also gained knowledge from the trades industry that allowed me to be enthusiastic and eager to contribute to team success through hard work, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. This allowed me to understand the importance in having a clear understanding of any task given and this gave me the knowledge of how tough some jobs really are for some people. Overall I am a motivated individual and excited for my next challenge ahead.

My name is Asma Uddin and I am studying a bachelors of law and criminology at the
University of Auckland. I have a big interest in all areas of work and being able to experience
different opportunities and roles. I am well time managed, respectful, well mannered at all
costs and I wish to provide nothing but the best towards everyone in need of my care. I am a
hardworking individual and can promise to be a reliable employee. I am currently sitting on a
full New Zealand licence and have my own car, therefore have a supported and safe
transport for getting places on time. I have current work experience as I’ve been working at
Event Cinemas in West city henderson mall for 3 years now and was promoted to supervisor
just before my 18th birthday, therefore i have gained great communication and customer
service skills in all areas of work. I also have retail experience from working at Platypus for
over 8 months and over a year at JD Sports, where I am currently employed. I am a very passionate and
dedicated person towards the roles I've been given and strive for personal best at all times. I have been a member at club physical, along with my family for a very long time and has been a dream of mine to work with the team

I come from hard times and I’m only proud of that because it has put me where I am today first generation, college student, well educated and well state of mind. I am confident in the person I’ve become and what I have to offer. I am young, healthy, hungry, and ready to work.
