This forum discussed end-of-life decisions and the importance of an advance directive detailing your code status before hospitalization. It also outlined the different types of code statuses and advance directives families must choose from. Ethical dilemmas that can occur when families and patients are not prepared to initiate or communicate their end-of-life decisions were also discussed.
Conducted Orientation to the sophomore nursing class in 2022 & 2023. Designed and implemented a new orientation in 2023.
Served on the Standards Committee 2021-2023 and the Assessment Committee 2023-2024.
Hosted prospective Bloomfield College of Montclair State nursing students and oriented them to our campus in 2023.
