Leveraged expertise in classroom management and for one year, during Covid, taught virtually in combination with teaching a classroom of students. Excels in building relationships with use of a wide range of teaching strategies resulting in significant improvements in reading comprehension, subject understanding, and student motivation.

Knowledgeable educator with proven ability to personalize learning experiences and foster academic growth in diverse student populations. A belief in guiding students to success step by step to build confidence in their own abilities. Ultimately proving again that success, no matter how small, encourages and drives more success.

• Co-chaired two very successful K-12 Education Fairs at Tri-County Area Schools.
• Very active in school committees for school/student improvement and new educational initiatives and learning opportunities.
• Taught a wide age range of students in the Migrant Summer Program for approximately 6 years.
• Taught summer school for approximately 25 years to various grade levels.
• 30 years as a Sunday school educator with experience teaching all grades Preschool through 12th graders.
• Led the High School Church Youth Group for 6 years.

I was honored to be nominated twice for the Herb Kohl Award as it is seen as a prestigious award in Wisconsin.  Even though I did not win the awards it was wonderful to be recognized for my passion and dedication for kids and education.
