• Prepared and implemented lessons for three 9th-grade Social Studies classes. Differentiated interactive lessons and activities for students to meet a variety of learning styles. Engaged students via whole class and small group instruction using technology (Kahoot and Pear Deck). Utilized C3 framework from the National Council for Social Studies in lesson preparation and assessment.
• Participated in professional development workshops.
• Worked with the English Learner Paraeducator to make assignments and activities more accessible to the multi-language learners in all three classes.
• Analyzed testing and SRI scores to guide instruction and designed a reading intervention plan for a struggling reader.

• Observed an 11th-grade Social Studies class. I took notes on the behavior of students and how the teacher addressed the behavior. I assisted students as they worked by answering questions and walking around as students worked.

Appoquinimink School District

• Worked with 7th-grade middle school students on a civic engagement project in which they had to address a solution to a problem in their community. My role was to help facilitate conversation about the problem they wanted to solve while allowing them to work together to create a presentation to address their problem and solution to their peers.

Christiana School District

• Observed clinical educator as he taught 6th-grade social studies. Notes were taken on his teaching strategies and how he interacted with his students, along with general observations.
