I will graduate from Wright State University with my RN, BSN at the end of the semester, with my graduation date set for May 2nd, 2025. I plan to take the NCLEX soon after and am eager to begin my nursing career. Throughout school, I have always balanced work and academics, spending the past year as a float pool PCT at Bethesda North. This role has strengthened my confidence in patient care and enhanced my adaptability in different clinical settings.
This semester, I have been completing my role transition rotation in the Emergency Department at Miami Valley South Hospital, an experience I have truly enjoyed. Between working on various units at Bethesda and my time in the ED at MVHS, I have gained insight into various types of nursing. I can confidently say that I am drawn to emergency nursing and believe it is the next step in my career. If given the opportunity, I would be excited to pursue a role in an ED setting.
