As a junior at East Carolina University, I am passionately pursuing a degree in Interior Design, driven by a deep appreciation for creating spaces that enhance well-being and mental health. I have honed my skills in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Photoshop, as well as hand-drawn renderings. One of my most rewarding experiences has been working on the transformation of St. Peter Catholic Church, my home parish, where I collaborated with fellow parishioners and ECU Interior Design Alumni to create a sacred space that resonates with our community.
I am committed to creating environments that improve one’s well-being and mental health, with plans to further my education in architecture. I believe in doing the right thing even when no one is looking and defending those who cannot defend themselves. Additionally, I am dedicated to raising awareness about mental health. My design philosophy centers on the belief that thoughtful design can transform lives, and I strive to bring this vision to every project I undertake. I don’t rely on inspiration pictures; instead, I aim to create something that has never been designed before, ensuring each space is unique and tailored to its purpose.

As an intern volunteer at St. Peter Catholic Church, I have been actively involved in the upfits of the sanctuary, atrium, corridors, and bathrooms, selecting new carpet, paint, wood stains, and pew fabrics. Next, we will focus on the reconfiguration and reconstruction of the choir area. Throughout this experience, I have had the opportunity to shadow and learn from fellow ECU graduates, Danielle Kennedy, and Kristin Blick.
