• In my Junior Year of College, I proposed a research study to see if PMMD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) is related to other mental health conditions. I wrote a literature review, talked about who would be the participants, what the procedure would look like, the materials that would be needed for the study, and talked about what test needed to be conducted in order to collect and analyze data.
• In my Generalist Practice with Macro System class, I did an organizational assessment on NAMI NC, a non profit organization. I interviewed Nina Leger, the director of programs and affiliate support, and I was able to do a SWOT analysis with her. I also got to present my research on NAMI to my class.
