Representative Project Experience

PFAS Remedial Investigations, Tinker and Altus AFBs | OK & Red River Army Depot (RRAD) and Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant (LSAAP) | TX. Project and QA Manager for Phase I PFAS RIs at Tinker and Altus AFBs, RRAD, and LSAAP to complete the lateral and vertical site characterization of AFFF release areas. The objectives of the RIs are to develop a comprehensive understanding of the nature and extent of PFAS in soil, groundwater, sediment, and surface water; determine the source strength of residual soil contamination; and develop comprehensive CSMs. Prescriptive and adaptive sampling locations in various media, coordinated with stakeholders through scoping meetings and documented in programmatic and/or site-specific QAPPs. The projects are managed using digital tools that enable stakeholders to collaborate and build consensus on adaptive characterization needed to achieve delineation in environmental media.

CORE5 Industrial Partners, Level II Assessment, VCP and MSD, Luna Road Development | Carrollton, TX. Project Manager and Senior Geologist responsible for Phase I and II, remedial investigation, and VCP closure of VOC and metals impacted soil, groundwater, and sediment at the Luna Road Development site. The site was formerly used for gravel mining and as a construction debris landfill. Technical services provided included completion of a Phase I ESA, comprehensive Phase II subsurface investigations, sediment and surface water sampling, geotechnical sampling, preparation of technical site investigation reports, preparation of scopes of work for additional investigation activities to delineate metals and chlorinated compounds in soil and groundwater, preparation of an APAR, obtaining an MSD ordinance from the City of Carrollton, and a final Certificate of Completion for the Site from the TCEQ.

DART, Environmental Response Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) | Dallas County, TX. Senior Geologist and Quality Control Review for a multiple work order Indefinite Delivery Environmental Response Compliance Contract for DART involving environmental services required for the current and future phases of light rail transit build out, bus operations, and commuter rail operations in the Dallas Metroplex. Services provided have included the completion of site investigations/contamination assessments to fully evaluate impacted properties, developing and implementing remedial actions under the TCEQ PST/TRRP rules to close sites with contaminated soil and/ or groundwater under the VCP, IOP, PST, or CA programs, providing comprehensive management and construction associated with petroleum storage or fueling system services, NPDES/ TPDES/SW3P compliance, and support required for emergency response services.

Texas Instruments, Former National Semiconductor Facility IOP | Arlington, Texas ‑ Project Manager for the investigation and IOP closure of VOC impacted groundwater at the former National Semiconductor Facility. Technical services included the evaluation of on-site soil and groundwater data, review of existing and historic site use data, development of the approved IOP Report, and preparation of a Technical Response to TCEQ comments to the original IOP submittal.
