Work History

GS-05 Step 7-Airman and Family Services Program

Eglin AFB CDC III
10.2023 - Current

Currently I am the payroll administrator as well the military childcare coordinator. I ensure that all employees are paid properly and input all of the time into the SETS program. I help maintain the hours of staff members to ensure we do not go over our budget. I explain pay statements to each staff member so they understand the differences of each type of leave. Inform staff members when I notice a problem in their pay. Prepare spreadsheet each pay period for staff members that left early, or called in sick, and turn this in with the pay period to ensure pay is correct.

As a childcare coordinator I enroll families into the child development center based on their priority. I give each family an orientation of our facility as they come in to our program. During the orientation I explain all of the procedures and policies of our program. I collect all paperwork such as pay statements, immunizations documents, any allergies, or special needs documents. I then input all of the information into the CYPBMS computer system. I notify each parent of their fees. I also inform management when a child has an allergy or special needs to ensure we are able to meet that child's needs. Enter data where updates are needed such as excel, word processing.
