• Handle phone calls, schedule appointments, prepare bills and receive payment for dental services, complete insurance forms, and maintain records, manually or using computer.

• Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist.

• Prepare patient, sterilize or disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials, or assist dentist during dental procedures.

• Make preliminary impressions using elastomeric material for study casts and occlusal registrations.

• Trained with Dentrix Patient Management Software.

• Employ special education strategies during instruction to improve development of sensory, motor skills, language, and memory.

• Teach socially acceptable behavior with positive reinforcements.

• Complete lesson outlines and plans then submitting them to the Coordinator or BCBA.

• Instruct and monitor students in the use and care of equipment and materials to prevent injuries and damage.

• Discuss progress with parents or legal guardians.
