- God has used me to come along His people in Upstate NY to continue building on His ministry. When we got to Prospect NY, they were few (45-50 people) but faithful, and God has used all of us to build Bethel into a thriving church today.
- One of the biggest successes at Bethel came when we changed our focus from inwardly to outwardly (community outreach). We have made it our mission, focus, and have been intentional about meeting the needs in our community. We did this though many avenues, (coaching, volunteering, and I was elected to the local school board) we also looked for ways for the community to use our the church building.
- We have spent over 15 years vesting in the community, God has faithfully added to our church. Having programs just isn't enough, people must know you truly care about them and their circumstances.
- My philosophy has been, we have to earn the right to sit at someones table. Once they know you care and truly love them, they will open up and let you share the gospel.
- I strive to stay humble, pliable, teachable and approachable to everyone, no matter what their walks of life has brought them. Every life changed and impacted was because of God, fortunately I get to be one of the tools He uses.
- Collaborated with staff and volunteers to administer pastoral care in times of celebration and grief.

- God saved me in 1999 and called us into the ministry at Sara Bay Baptist Church.
- I was trained under the Senior Pastor while going to Bible School.
- I began as a youth director, held the offices of deacon, youth pastor, and assistant pastor, while at Sara Bay Baptist Church.
- I was licensed to preach in 2007 and ordained in 2009.
- God used me to start a children and teen programs, which ran around 125-150 every Wednesday night.
- My wife and I along with two other men drove buses, and vans picking up teens and kids.
- I was blessed to be able to preach whenever the Senior Pastor was on vacation, and as I grew in my abilities I preached on a monthly basis.
- I praise God for the years I spent learning and training, and now I understand what my pastor meant when he told me those early years of ministry would be the easiest days of my ministry.
- Optimized church committee functions clarifying goals and delegating tasks.
