Installed 480VAC motors and VFDs throughout the City of Bremerton upgrading 38 pump stations with Allen Bradley VFDs, line reactors, TVS and PLCs (programing included). Totaling 1.3 million dollars in equipment successfully installed and inspected. With the assistance of one coworker and myself.
Upgraded Wastewater network from copper communications over VPN to dark fiber totaling 32 pump stations and 2 plants. Built out server rooms electrical and core switch. Equipment totaling over $750,000 with no down to process.
Troubleshooting complex electrical circuits daily using industrial automation environments such as TIA portal, Studio 5000 and Logix 500 , restoring functionality promptly.
Improved system efficiency by installing, maintaining, and calibrating instrumentation and electrical control equipment such as PLCs, telemetry communications and MCC bucket starting systems.
Ensured safety compliance by conducting training with crew on lockout tagout according to WAC and OSHA guidelines.
Reduced downtime and sewage overflows by implementing maintenance tasks and preventative maintenance program for all electrical systems. Including megger readings, load banking and IR testing. Resulting in no reportable overflows to EPA or Ecology departments. This figure is down year over year for past five years.
Installed and wired electrical transformers, service panels, meter bases, generators, transfer switches and circuit breakers.
Installed, maintained, repaired, and tested equipment for electricity generation and utilization including 4 generators ranging from 80kw-1000kw.
Designed control systems in CAD and submit them to scientific testing laboratory for UL certification. Afterwards built control cabinets and installed them for L&I inspection.
Daily use of testing instruments such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, and multimeters.
Performed routine and complex maintenance and repairs on various electrical equipment including Centrifuges, house cranes, motor mixers, dosing skids, transfer switches, and PLCs.
