• Have led a variety of teacher workshops throughout our charter organization (multi-grade) focusing on instruction and classroom management.
• ECAL Visual Arts founding teacher.
• Founded and have led 8 consecutive Dia de los Muertos community festivals (hundreds in attendance) that incorporates all subject contents displaying their work for the community, as well as raising money for our Arts and Music Scholarships- 2021 scholarships: 1 for visual arts, 2 for music/choir each $150.
• Led 1st Sotomayor Campus Chalk Art Festival.
• Participated in various teacher groups and summer task force focusing on school development.
• Was in charge of ASB during online learning focusing on building school and community culture.
• PUC Competitive Edge (PCE) Lead, 4 years- Have created curriculum and guided teachers in grade level advisory classes.
• Held a paid mentorship role focusing on developing new middle and high school art teachers in our charter organization.
