This is a once a week, 4 hour class in Field Biology for 4th and 5th graders.
As an instructor at Armand Bayou Nature Center, leading class field trips, teaching large adult groups and working with small groups such as daycare and special needs is part of the responsibilites.
Created the first GT program at this charter school for Elementary students:
This was composed of a pull-out program where students (1-5) were taught one day a week for an hour. The program consisted of programs and activities such as : Inventions, Crime Lab, Mysteries, etc.
During the Covid epidemic, I was the online GT specialist for the entire Clear Creek Independent School District in Elementary Education.
At Cline Elementary: teaching positions included: Kindergarten and second grade.
In 1997, the first Gifted and Talented Program for Cline Elementary School was created. This job consisted of a pull-out program where students were seen twice a week for one hour. In 2004, another school was added to responsibilities: Windsong Intermediate. At Windsong, students 4th-5th graders.
Responsibilities included creating lessons/units, testing of the entire campus and mentoring teachers.

2015 I completed the Texas Master Naturalist program.
2016 Created the first Gifted and Talented program at Odyssey Academy Charter School
