Participated in a Study Abroad program focused on building an understanding of the Italian culture, and its contribution to the health of the nation. Over the course of 4 weeks, the students conducted interviews with native Italians and gathered observations to further help understand the benefits of values and traditions on the overall health of the population.

Latino Logradores - Mentor

Member of a mentorship program curated for Latino freshman at Texas A&M University. The purpose of this program is to guide these students at the university and help them navigate the obstacles that come with the new environment. As mentors we provide one on one sessions to better understand what resources they require. 

 Bryan Interfaith Immigration Network - Volunteer

Provided assistance during the adult English classes offered by this organization. Translated assignments and instructions to individuals who spoke the least English and aided with the lesson planning.

Nanotheranostics Lab- Student Research Assistant

Use different methods of preparing gold nanoparticles to be used for biomedical and diagnostic purposes. Assist PhD students with preparing these experiments as well as using different software to derive data.
