I currently work in a Med-Surg/ Telemetry unit in an acute hospital setting. I am often floated to other units based on hospital needs. On a typical shift I care for an assignment of 8 to 10 patients. As a Nursing Assistant, my main duty is to emphasize on measuring and monitoring vital signs for my team of nurses, and following the patient care plan In any patient change of condition. I am responsible for working alongside my team in delivering exceptional patient care, including assisting with Activities of Daily Living, turning and repositioning patients that are prone to skin breakdowns, and answering patient call lights promptly. I am often utilized as a patient safety sitter both one-on-one, as well as through Avasis video systems.
I worked in collaboration in a team of Registered Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and other vital members of the healthcare team delivering prompt and excellent patient care to an assignment of 12-16 patients in a Telemetry/Med-Surg unit within an acute hospital setting. I Worked alongside a team of Registered Nursing staff to provide care to patients in a
