Track OSHA 300 and first aid log Familiar with Tier II environmental reporting Administers first aid as needed
Review and update all policies and procedures, also write new procedures as needed and push through the MOC process
Organize a Safety Execution Plan/Safety Action Plan for all jobs prior to employees entering jobsites
Conduct pre-employment and random drug screens and schedule employees for safety council Gives site specific training (Process Overview) to employees Gives special training and testing such as scaffold user training, fire/hole watch, bottle watch, and equipment operators (ie, forklift, drott, etc) to all employees Did all other training as needed per employee’s job scope
Conduct post incident investigations and complete all reports pertaining to each incident and report all documentation to corporate office Report injuries to insurance company and fill out all Workers Compensation Forms necessary and perform follow ups on all claims
Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure all employees are working safely and wearing proper PPE required by permits, company policies, and OSHA regulations
Conduct DOT Inspections on all heavy equipment and large vehicles
Worked with VPP Star Site Coordinator to ensure VPP expectations
Set up each job site with first aid facilities, telephone numbers to all doctors, hospitals, and clinics in the immediate area
Verify accuracy of all JSA/JHA completed by crew members prior to each job task
Coordinate daily safety meetings Revised SDS Book
Conduct atmospheric testing and write permits accordingly
Inspect, tag and document all PPE prior to issuing to employees
Computer skills include Microsoft Word, Works, Excel, Power Point, and some Database work
