- I look over the whole project, make sure it goes all on schedule and at the client’s request. I order and track material. If there are any changes I talk to the engineers and the client so that everyone’s onboard. I also get involved with the RFI’s (any changes that the job requires). I have meetings with the CEO’s and project managers, engineers and PMs. I conduct the safety meetings every morning, safety topic for the day, as well as the construction update twice a week. I also make sure everyone clocks in and out. I make sure everyone does the JSA and signs them. I look over the hours, sign and submit them every week to HR. I conduct meetings with all the foreman’s making sure we have a plan to meet schedule. I also conduct the safety logout, tagout. I make sure everything is up to code before the job is turned in. I sign documents for the turnover. I oversee the walk around with the city and client inspectors. I oversee the equipment rentals, as well as certifying employees to be able to use the equipment. As well as making sure the safety gear is all up to code and that everyone is using the safety gear. I have knowledge of instrumentation, tubing, and installing conduit panels. As well as testing equipment, start-ups. Also, review all job scope and see if I need to do a change orders for any changes what on the jobsite. Fire and gas upgrades.
