Summary
My degree in Elementary Education from Clearwater Christian College served me very well in my years teaching 4th grade at Kings Highway Elementary School in Clearwater, FL. After that, I was able to take my formal teaching experience and apply it to homeschooling. For the last 15 years, I have been teaching my own children, starting in kindergarten. For many years, this looked like instructing all 3 of them around the dining room table, often at the same time. As they have reached high school and beyond, they have found success through dual enrollment, online classes, and heading off to college. This leaves me with a skill set that I am ready to offer another family! Homeschooling has been a joy in our family's lives, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to teach my own children. As my children have gotten older and more independent, I have been working 1-2 days a week for Sandy Feet Vacation Rentals, a locally owned company. While I enjoy the opportunity to work for this wonderful business, I have also really missed homeschool teaching, especially those sweet younger years.
