I began dancing at the age of 7, where I was introduced to Mexican Folklore and other cultural dances. Over the years, I have been a member of several cultural dance teams, such as Remembering Our Culture, Sapichu, and Living Legends. Through numerous dance classes and workshops, I have excelled in dances from various cultures, which has afforded me the opportunity to attend college and join a professional traveling dance team at BYU. Being part of these professional dance groups has helped me develop a range of skills beyond dance, including event planning and organization, people skills, social media strategies and management, organizational skills, team collaboration, and multitasking.
