I am an active individual, I partake in obstacle races year round. The spartan race has been my go to hobby. I was first introduced by my father when I was eighteen years old, my original goal was just to finish the race. Im twenty five years old now and each year I get faster and better at the obstacle course. I like these types of races because I get to surround myself with like minded individuals who like to challenge themselves physically and mentally. We all knowingly sign up to suffer and go through tremendous amounts of pain. During the duration of the race, it's almost like we get to be in a primal state where we can compete and be savages. I like to consider it an accomplishment because it holds me accountable to stay fit and also it keeps my mentality in a competitive mindset.
