• Prepare for school inspections by local, state and federal agencies in conjunction with the corporate compliance department
• Responsibility for development, implementation, and monitoring of course offerings and other school income opportunities.
• Monitoring and managing student progress, student attendance, student retention, and acceptable student placement rates Monitoring the schools CDL third party testing approval and the certification of examiners along with the scheduling and proper testing procedures for all applicants as applicable.

• Assist and managing in the hiring, counseling and termination of school personnel as applicable Responsible for complete, correct and timely submission of all evaluations, forms and required reports associated with the school operations and additional reporting as requested
• The CDL Testing Supervisor is responsible for providing oversight and management of other CDL Examiners as assigned and the overall CDL testing function of the Company at assigned locations under the direction and guidance of the CDL Testing Manager and the CDL Testing Director.
• Serve as a CDL Examiner as required. During administration of the CDL Examination, the employee will be considered to be a quasi-state employee and will be responsible for administering the CDL exams as prescribed by applicable state and Federal regulations, policies and procedures as well as policies and procedures established by the Company.
• Responsible for ensuring the safe driving and operation of testing equipment during exam and when acting as a CDL Examiner authorized to take over the controls of the test equipment if in the CDL Examiner’s opinion the vehicle is being driven in an unsafe manner or at any time immediately in order to avoid an accident.
• Responsible for maintaining the reliability and integrity of the CDL exams to include Pre-trip inspection, Basic Skills, and Over the Road Skills and the security and integrity of all testing materials and testing manuals issued by applicable authorities. Must immediately report any testing discrepancies or inaccuracies to the employee’s immediate supervisor.
• Responsible for attending all CDL refresher classes, and to be conversant with all updates in the testing procedures. Must at all times maintain public and personal creditability as a third-party state examiner.
• Must be professional and rational at all times and maintain a high ethical standard in performing all assigned duties at all times. Must treat all Company associates, students, test subject and third parties with dignity, respect and professionalism at all time. Must at all times adhere to all policies and procedures established by the state monitor and the third-party exam facility.
• Responsible for complete, correct and timely submission of all test evaluations, forms, and required reports associated with CDL third party testing as dictated by applicable regulations and Company policy.
• CDL Testing Supervisor is responsible for monitoring time sheets to ensure accuracy of the CDL Examiners in their assigned state.
• CDL Testing Supervisor is responsible for approving submitted time for each pay period.
• To ensure each Third-Party testing site is following rules and regulations that are state specific.
• Responsible for checking the accuracy of evaluations that are being conducted onsite and responsible for monitoring the CSTIMS system where allowed for accuracy and compliance.
• Instructors are responsible for the motivation, instruction and skill development of all students assigned using school accepted teaching methods and practices. It is the instructor’s responsibility to thoroughly know and understand the subject matter and content being delivered.
• Become familiar with and utilize the company’s Train the Trainer® (TTT) manual and implement its methodologies at all times while providing instruction to students. Alternative teaching methods and approaches are not acceptable without the prior written approval of senior management.
• Must be able to provide training in the areas of knowledge (classroom), full pre-trip inspection, basic control skills and road driving.
• Follow all management directives, including all safety policies concerning operations, training and other work and student related activities at all times.
• Promote and ensure a safe training environment, which includes the safe and appropriate operation of school equipment and implementation of safe work practices on all areas of campus including the skills pad.
• Instructors are to be in appropriate uniform and be neat and clean while on duty.
• Instructors must be patient, professional and rational at all times. Instructors are required to maintain a high ethical standard in performing assigned duties.
• Abide by all company policies concerning student interactions. Always treat all individuals with dignity and respect at all times. Never use any abusive or profane language with students or other staff members at any time.
• Complete all student evaluations, examinations and any other tests with integrity and honesty and in a timely manner. Always utilize company provided forms and grading criteria when administering and completing applicable evaluations and examinations.
• Must continuously maintain CDL and instructor licensure and meet any and all applicable CDL and instructor licensing requirements of any local, state or federal regulation.
• Must be able to work assigned schedule which includes weekends as needed and scheduled.
• Perform all duties with honesty, objectivity, truthfulness, integrity and high ethical standards.
• Understand the confidential nature of information with regards to all company activities, including but not limited to policies, applicant data, student data, financial data, educational data and school licensing. Agree to maintain such confidentiality during employment and after separation from the company.
• Regular, reliable and predictable work attendance is an essential function of the position of Instructor.
