• Procedures/training coordinator Responsible for
creating/updating procedures in fusion,
scheduling/administering training, and tracking completion of employee training.
• Contributed to early success of Belews Creeks multi skill training program with help of my peers.
• Helped bring Belews Creek back to within 90% training compliance.
• On the benchmark team to create a 3-year training program for operation new hires.
• Interim supervisor for the Unit 2 mechanical team leading up to the re-org.
•Involved in the grading/selection process of employees, as well as leading day-to-day work activities for our team.
• Continued role as planner while filling in as supervisor. During this time, I saved $500k on O&M budget by
finding capital opportunities.
• Responsible for planning day to day and outage work for the mechanical team at Belews Creek. Maintained < 40 work orders in the backlog.
• Maximo and pasta experience, with admin rights.
• Frequent use of excel and other computer programs.
• Daily interactions with vendors for purchasing goods and/or requesting services.
• Constant effort to save money from the O&M budget.
• Mechanic/welder,Daily efforts to keep the equipment operable at the station.
• Involved with event free/R&R/safety councils.
• During my time in the shop I was also assigned to the PIT team for the design/construction of the SFC and water re-direct projects.
• Station IM on many different outages.
