I am a dependable, driven, focused law enforcement officer whom has gained experience through seventeen years of being employed at the Brown County Sheriff's Department. During this time, I have served the citizens of Brown County as a corrections officer, road deputy, detective, Sergeant of investigations, and currently as Captain and Jail Administrator. I have also served on the multi-jurisdictional SWAT team as the Hostage Negotiations Team Leader. I am a proven leader in law enforcement that concentrates on community policing and problem- solving. I have been awarded the 2016 Outstanding Peace Officer of the state of Ohio by the Ohio Prosecuting Attorney's Association. I also was awarded the Ribbon Of Valor by Sheriff Gordon Ellis in 2020.
