Dear Hiring Team,
My career path is built on service, adaptability, and leadership. In 2001, impacted by the events of September 11th, I paused my university education to answer a call to civic duty. I honored my legacy as a third-generation law enforcement officer—following my father and grandfather into law enforcement—I earned my state POST certification and began my career with the Slidell Police Department. This background I feel gives me an edge in modern facilities management: I look at building operations through a combined lens of asset protection, strict safety compliance, and budget oversight. Following a decade of managing various technical operations for Sleep Solutions, I transitioned into corporate operations within the Contracts & Compliance department at Gilsbar. There, I honed my skills with the administrative side of facility management—handling vendor contracts, analyzing bids, and managing day-to-day building service calls. This cross-training seamlessly bridged the gap between physical labor and executive corporate administration. This foundation is why Globalstar hired me in 2022 as a Facilities Coordinator. Managing building automation systems (BAS), handling HVAC/electrical maintenance, etc., I proved my value and was promoted to Facilities Manager in 2024 upon my predecessor's retirement. I view properties not just as mechanical systems, but through the lenses of risk assessment, physical security, contractual accuracy, and budgetary discipline. I am eager to bring this hard-earned blend of technical proficiency and emergency leadership to your team. Thank you for your time, consideration, and the opportunity to carry operational execution forward into your organization.
Respectfully,
Chad Spindel
