- I currently oversee a staff of 11 people. I am involved in their day-to-day operations. Staff vary from my Admin, Parts Counter Sales, Warehouse, Outside Product Support, and Transport truck drivers. So, my role and involvement with them is widely varied. I really enjoy the fact that I get to manage so many different aspects of the business!
- I currently manage all of Modern Machinery Portland's parts. That includes $3.4-4.0 million in product, depending on the season. I have a yearly audit conducted by outside parties. Last year, I had a 2.14% variance in inventory on $4 million.
- I work closely with our vendors to get the best possible price, whether it is buying in bulk or getting overstock when available. I look at all vendors that are available to get the best product for the right price. I recently switched our LED light vendor because the rep kept coming in asking for my business. He was priced high, and I let him know what we needed. He obliged, and now I use him exclusively.

- Being a manager at Les Schwab was where I really found out what kind of manager I wanted to be. i had been trained by old school men that thought beating people down, and then building them back up was the proper way.
