Well versed in the construction industry in general after being on the install side of fire protection for the last 27 years Started as a helper, then Forman, then self employed in the trade before coming back to a company as a Forman and advanced to superintendent then on to operations manger I have experience installing CPVC wet and dry systems, steel wet and dry systems, wet and dry manuals and automatic standpipes Have installed hundreds of fire pumps, dry valves and most things related to fire protection Babe installed many warehouses, mixed use city block type buildings, residential apartments, condos, trailers and houses I have a very good reputation in the industry and an even better work ethic I pride myself in doing quality work while making the bottom line as best it can be Liability is huge in the trade, human lives but also monetary so everything is taken into account to do the best and correct methods to account for that My current position and one I’ve been in for the last 15 years, I coordinated and communicate with GC’s on upcoming projects and track the ETA up to the day we start I order materials and get plans to the crew I watch and walk the projects from start to finish and update office staff on production for billings as well as percent complete meetings I also keep and update three month outlooks to keep check on upcoming projects and manpower balance I manage any warranty work and assist the service department to fix leaks and repairs Other than design, there isn’t much I don’t do or don’t have experience doing
