In the 9 years I've been with Thunder I have been a Head Coach, advisor to the Board and a voting member on the Board of Directors. Prior to joining Thunder Baseball I enjoyed 4 years as President of the Board of Directors of Nova WPE, a non profit business supporting a youth/young adult performance group. Responsibilities included, managing fundraisers, overseeing and working bingo game sessions, organizing and approving travel budgets, scheduling and organizing community service events. I was selected to move into The Director position of Nova WPE where I organized an instructional staff, worked directly with performers as well as run logistics of performance travel. While not a performer myself, a connection in the desire to be Champions on and off the floor helped us achieve a State Championship. After an additional two years with the organization a decision was made by the family to step down and spend more time together and Coach Tyler at Thunder.
Communication with customers about required repairs and concerns with vehicles. Committed to retaining positive relationships with vendors and employees. Manage workloads and desired expectations of staff. Accounting, reconciling payables and receivables.
Specialized in growing sales through committed and positive communications with customers and concentrating on employee retention and advancement. Focused on audit solutions and streamlining the process with auditor and regional manager. Led multiple stores to consistent year over year growth and profit.
During my employment I have worked diligently with the owner to establish unbreakable relationships with our customers on a professional and a personal leval. Four years ago I started a yearly fundraiser, in honor of my late son Tyler Morrison, to benefit those in need. We started a New Years Eve Charity Day and the shop designed to exchange service and time from our staff for donations benefiting a family friend in need battling lung cancer, Children's Hospital Colorado Neuro-Oncology Dept, St Jude's, Tubuelan Central, an underfunded primary school in the Philippines. I've always thought "If you do something nice for someone else and more than two people know about it, you did it for the wrong reasons."
