Summary

Learning and development professional with 15+ years of training experience. Currently a Technical Training Specialist II at Cable One, a top 10 US Telecommunications company.

I am experienced with guiding organizations through complex change initiatives to improve efficiency and performance. My approach is to utilize strategic planning and stakeholder engagement to drive successful outcomes.

I have a track record of fostering collaborative environments and successful training goals. My professional career began with Starbucks where I was a Store Manager, regularly leading multiple teams of 20+ associates, and managing multiple locations.

My success at Starbucks came from my passion of hiring great associates and having strong training programs. As a Store Manager, I led all aspects of the business from onboarding, training, promotions, corrective actions, inventory management, fiscal/business acumen, and food safety standards.

After Starbucks, I joined Hargray (a Southeast Telecommunications company) as an Installation and Repair Technician in 2017.

I quickly promoted to Technical Trainer in 2018 where I managed all aspects of technical training. Over the years have been promoted to my current role as Technical and Operations Training Specialist II.

In my current role, I lead large scale change initiatives, training initiatives, facilitate new hire training, new-hire onboarding, and lead cross disciple ad-hoc initiative training. I also have expertise in LMS management, HRIS systems, instructional design, and management of various certification programs.

I am also a Christian, father, and husband. My relationship with Jesus Christ is the most important of my life. All of my degrees, certifications, and job-experience mean nothing compared to His gift of salvation.
