My career in the childcare industry started in 2005, I knew this was my calling and true passion because I truly love taking care of children. I have worked with newborns, preemies, full term, infant twins, toddlers, elementary level pre-teens and teenagers. With all of the inquires for childcare i transitioned from working in the newborn nursery in hospital to working directly with families caring for their child/ children.
I worked with mom immediately after her arrival home from the hospital with baby boy. We worked extensively with breastfeeding establishment. I also provided night time rest for mom while I worked on putting baby on a proper sleep schedule. My nightly routine included bathing baby, reading baby a bed time story and after breastfeeding putting baby to bed. I also washed and sterilized baby bottles and did baby's laundry.
Prepared babies for bedtime. Gave babies a bath, read them a bedtime story, prepared their bottles, changed their pampers in-between each feeding, kept nursery clean and tidy, washed and sterilized bottles and did their laundry. Assisted mom with breastfeeding and put babies on a proper sleeping schedule at night.
Worked with mom following the birth of her baby girl. I assisted her for three months following her cesarean delivery. Provided relief in caring for the baby to allow her to rest. Assisted her with breastfeeding and put her baby on a proper night time sleep routine. Gave the baby a bath, read the baby a book, gave the baby a bottle and got the baby ready for bed. I fed the baby every 3 hours and changed the baby diapers before each feeding. While the baby was asleep I did the baby's laundry and sterilized the baby bottles.
Worked with mom immediately following the delivery of her first baby. I worked with this family for the first six weeks as her night nurse. Assisted mom extensively with breastfeeding. Also helped with putting baby in a proper sleep schedule which allowed mom to rest and recuperate from her cesarean delivery. Did the baby laundry and sterilized the baby bottles.
