As the sole proprietor of a successful small business based in a combination of evocative fantasy fiction and compact, accessible rules reference, I have a variety of general business skills suitable to a huge swathe of positions in almost any company. This industry uniquely requires both clearly described and formatted, easy-to-reference game rules ("crunch") and evocative fantasy description that excites a reader to participate ("fluff"), which means I have developed and demonstrated both technical and advertising writing proficiency, the latter reinforced and expanded upon by my creation and management of Kickstarter-based advertising campaigns that included both written and video elements and successfully convinced thousands of people to buy at least one book in the series despite having no prior fanbase or following outside of a few personal friends. Taking those projects from the Google Doc to a printed book in customers' hands required coordinating a small team of freelancers under tight budget and deadline to achieve a monthly release schedule despite having only a single writer and illustrator for the project, a rate of production that normally relies on having at least 3-4 different contributors. This incredible rate of production did not harm the quality of the products, as evidenced by the consistent 4/5 and frequent 4.5/5 rating on DriveThruRPG.
