I have worked in the construction/maintenance field for the past 3 years.
My job with Mellow Construction taught me how to work efficiently and safely. I was able to work under multiple carpenters, plumbers, electricians and finishers who have mastered their trade. During my employment I also learned proper business protocol and how to appropriately cater to clients' needs.
When I first started with my current employer I had the opportunity to venture out on my own as a tech and learn how to troubleshoot. I was able to become a well-rounded employee and quickly learned how to properly meet client expectations. This required me to work efficiently while also maintaining a safe work space.
Most recently I've been spending more time in the office in a project management position. This experience has taught me the correct way to team build and lead technicians as well as how to quote jobs and interact with clients. My position required me to schedule, dispatch, quote, source parts and bill. Over the last year I was able to learn how to keep the business running smooth.
