  • My older brother is a manager and helped me get the job and work my way up to a maintenance mechanic position through the summer shutdown.

  • Performed demolition tasks using a skid steer with bucket to break up concrete.

  • I worked on numerous types of siding on houses and apartment buildings.
  • Assisted in the assembly of scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment to ensure safe work conditions.

  • I learned how to install tile and flooring and was even able to help work on my Parents and Grandmothers homes.

  • Responsible for stacking sod(rolled up lawn grass and dirt).
  • Work in the open environment no matter the weather.
  • continuously repeat a somewhat difficult task of lifting the heavy earth and stacking it on pallets in a orderly manner.
  • Took orders from the boss to do things I didn't necessarily like to do with pride.
  • I would wake up really early to get as much work done on the farm before the summer heat hit.
  • I would tarp the loaded trucks at the end of the day and tighten the the multiple straps running the length of the trailer.
  • Double check with the Boss to see if there is any other tasks he would like me to do before leaving.
