• Charge Nurse for a 60-bed unit, which included assignment management, coordination with house supervisors, assisting in critical response teams and code blue events, assisting staff with patient care, enforcing safety and policies of the facility, and resolving unit conflicts.
• Administrative duties, including audits, discharge follow-up phone calls, quality measures, and working directly with management for process improvement.
• Prioritize and manage the care of patients at a 1:3 RN-to-patient ratio.
• Manage care for patients with LVADs, heart transplants, endocarditis, congestive heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, LifeVests, and destination therapy cardiac drips (milrinone, dopamine, and remodulin).

• Post-operative care of electrophysiology patients who have received ablations, Watchman procedures, and pacemakers.
• Extensive experience with the care of pre- and post-operative CABG and valve repair patients.
