Entered Absentee Ballot Request
- Processed voters Absentee Ballot request applications into the computers data base
Assisted in preparing the vault for absentee voter ballots
- Labeled the trays in the vault with precinct numbers.
- Labeled the blue dividers with precinct numbers and placing them in the proper trays.
Assisted in inventorying the absentee ballots sent in from the vendor
- Made sure all ballots are accounted for according to precinct.
- Made sure all ballots are in numerical order.
- Placed the ballots in trays in the vault according to precinct.
Pulled, Scanned, and mailed out the absentee ballots
- Pulled out the correct ballots for each absentee ballot voter according to precinct and city.
- Added the ballot identification number to the voter by scanning them into the computer data base.
Sorted and scanned returned voted absentee ballots
- Sorted out all the voted ballots according to precinct.
- Removed the signature privacy tab to expose the voters signature on the return envelope.
- Scanned in the voters bar-code on the return envelope in our computers envelope in our computers data base and verified voters signature with the one that we have on the voters registration.
- Placed all scanned and processed voted ballots in batches of 100 in trays in the vault.
Assisted in the auditing of the voted absentee ballots
- Made sure all voted absentee ballots are in order and accounted for.
Assisted with the assembling of the absentee ballot boxes for the counting board.
- Placed the proper labels on the custody log that the counting board follows.
- Sealed up the voted absentee ballots in it along with the custody log on the front of the box and placed the box in the vault till the counting board come in.
Prepared the counting board room
- Placed the tables according to seating.
- Placed proper materials on tables (pens, scissors, note paper, glue, white trays, etc).
- Made name tags for each member of the counting board.
Assisted with the counting board
- Rejected any return envelopes in which the signature didn't match.
- Removed the voted absentee ballot from the return envelope.
- Made sure none of the absentee ballots are torn, ripped, or soiled. If any was it was sent to the duplicating team to be duplicated.
- Made sure all absentee ballots are accounted for according to the custody log.
- Put all absentee ballots in the right folders and placed back in absentee ballot box.
- Sealed the absentee ballot box and sent it to the auditing team to be audited.
Assisted with the duplicating team
- Any voted absentee ballot that is stained or torn it gets sent to the duplicating team.
- The damaged absentee ballot gets pulled and I go to the vault and pull a new ballot according to precinct and city as the damaged ballot.
- Another person and I marks the same vote on the new ballot that is on the damaged ballot and send it back to the proper ballot box in which it came from.
Assisted with auditing of the absentee ballot boxes
- Opened the sealed absentee ballot boxes from the counting board.
- Pulled out the folders from the absentee ballot boxes and took out all the voted ballots and make sure there is the same amount of absentee ballots in the folders that are indicated on the custody log and folder.
- Placed all voted absentee ballots back in the proper folders and placed the folders back in the ballot box , sealed it and sent the box to tabulation.
Assisted in processing electronic ballots from citizens overseas and military voters
- Scanned voter registration bar-code and ballot into the computers data base.
- Placed the ballot and voters envelope in a tray in the vault.
Assisted with Ex-felon letters
- Entered the seasonal address on the ex-felons registration so a letter can be processed
- Once my supervisor prints out the letters, I scanned the letter into the voters registration
- Assembled the hard copy letter with a brochure (so the ex-felon can go through the proper steps in restoring there voting rights) in an envelope and placed it in the mail.

- Answered phone calls regarding voters questions and concerns
City Clerks
- Assembled absentee ballot boxes for city clerk offices
- Called City Clerks offices to see if they have received any ballots in the ballot boxes.
