Project Summary:

The StarrDucks team specializes in rate revisions like Fast rate, Rate Update (RU), Rate Update + and Product Updates (PU) for Commercial Lines policies transitioning from Legacy to Duck Creek or for renewals of existing Duck Creek policies.

Responsibilities:

o Develop state-specific test plans for PU.

o Test execution for PU which includes testing Model update tests, Renewal Rate Capping (RRC) testing, Tiering testing (multi day tests), regression and other tests based on specific state.

o Calculate the RRC OR and OE using rater tool excel.

o Troubleshoot issues using DC trace and report potential defects to developers.

o Update Starr Ducks specific TAC automation scripts for state-specific regression testing, execute, and validate them.

o Utilize Rater tool to verify policies and log any differences as bugs.

o Utilize Util scripts for tasks such as Lapse, Renewal with Lapse and Violation OrderDateTime for MVR.

o Collaborate effectively within the team to ensure timely completion of QA tasks.

o Participate in knowledge sharing sessions within the team and outside the team on several topics.

o Collaborate with CL Rater tool team to set temporary NB, renewal dates for testing and discuss any issues.

o Automated essential functionalities related to quote creation, starting from the Jump page to the final Sold Quote, including dynamic extraction of driver, vehicle, and other relevant information from various spreadsheets using Page Object Model (POM) and gave a demo on the automated script.

Project Summary:

The Novus Platform resides at the base of the Novus Suite Architecture (NSA), a rich feature set and providing an eco-system on which many products and frameworks can be built across Thomson Reuters.

The Novus platform provides a sophisticated information retrieval system. Novus provides,

o Feature rich search engine optimized for multiple languages.

o Content retrieval services for storing, locating, and retrieving any type of content.

o Publishing services with tools to manage and monitor content publishing activity.

o Metadata services for storing and retrieving metadata, structured data, and document relationships.

The Novus Platform team develops supports and enhances the Novus Platform technology to enable new product development, leverage and re-use Novus platform features and infrastructure.

Flavours of Novus

o Enterprise Novus: Enterprise Novus runs in the data center, is highly scalable, high performance and has backup and recovery built into the architecture. Most enterprise applications like Westlaw Next, Thomson Reuters Tax and Accounting, so many applications leverage Enterprise Novus.

o Mobile Novus: Mobile Novus is Novus search engine tailored to run on mobile/eReader devices. The eReader platform uses Mobile Novus for its search needs. The eReader application currently is supported for MAC 32/64-bit, Android, Blackberry, Win32/64, and SUSU Linux platforms with support to for four diff languages.

o Single-Site Novus is a Lower cost, single-site Novus instance. J2012 uses single-site Novus as its workbench data repository.

Languages supported in Novus – more than 12 languages supported like Chinese, Japanese (support for both char and word-based searches) including Arabic (readability is right to left)

Novus in turn has four teams: Load, Index, Search and Retrieval.

Project Summary: Service Delivery Platform (SDP) allows real estate developers to design, develop, and deploy innovative services with reduced operations cost, increased revenues and enhanced user experience. SDP is a platform that enables delivery of smart services by leveraging the strong network foundation to the end customers. The SDP platform application is a set of components that provides a foundation for defining, developing, and deploying infrastructure services.

Responsibilities:

o Co-ordinating work among the automation team.

o Designing Detailed Test Plan for diff Features of SDP

o Designing, Reviewing and Executing Test cases.

o Manual testing of the application.

o Automation testing using DDT (data driven testing)

o Sanity Testing: Automating of test scripts and execution using selenium, Test NG/JUnit, Java

Project Summary: Novartis is a world leader in the research and development of products to protect and improve health and well-being. Regulatory compliance is an essential component of business continuity for pharmaceutical companies. The objective of the project is to Design, Develop and Maintain DRAGON (DRA Global regulatory compliance) system, which is intended to be a global registration system for Novartis.

Responsibilities:

o Acquiring domain knowledge of the application.

o Creating, reviewing, and executing Test Cases for CR’s and bugs

o Manual Testing of the application.

o Automating Testing of the application using JUnit and Java.

o Building, customizing, and managing the automation framework/environment.

Project Name: Online Banking and Trading Systems.

Client: Deutsche Bank

Duration: Dec 2008- Mar 2009

My Role: Test Engineer and Programmer.

Project Summary: DB-OBTS is an online banking trading application where the customers can trade securities online. It has internet and intranet part.

The internet part is for the customers of Deutsche bank where they can buy/sell/subscribe/redeem/cancel securities like equities, mf, mandates, and different kinds of bonds. The customer can manage their custody account portfolio also in the OBTS application. The customer can also view the details about the different securities available in different markets across the world.

The intranet part is for the branch users of the Deutsche Bank. In intranet application, the branch user can trade securities on behalf of the customers (call centres), manage customers portfolios, access their work list/order desk, dematerializing physical securities, securities details of deutsche bank products, view the reporting statistics in the different branches of the Deutsche bank in Belgium.

Project Summary: iCORe is a global Intranet web tool for a leading European Bank for applying the Group Compliance Methodology on bank and all the affiliates and subsidiaries of which the bank owns a majority stake, thus facilitating the assessment and oversight of compliance risks. The solution is provided for Compliance Risk Management, a part of the BU Group Functions
