• Project managed the process of designing and manufacturing a robotic arm with 5 degrees of freedom, and a gripper end effector
• Designed the links, and housing unit cap from a researched reference build, added a cap to secure the stepper motor.
• Learned Arduino IDE within 90 days and employed the software successfully to control the motors via a 2-axis joystick and a 3-axis joystick
• Coordinated design meetings and decisions with the IRTT lab for students to 3-d print the links, gripper, and housing unit. I used a Raise 3-d pro 3 printer for all of the printed parts.
• Programmed in Arduino Ide to operate 4 servo motors and 1 stepper motor via Arduino libraries and Git hub.
