As a Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in schools I have a wide range of responsibilities focused on supporting students' communication development. I assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), provide direct therapy, collaborate with staff and families, and participate in school-wide initiatives related to communication

As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) I worked under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to implement therapy plans, prepare materials, and document progress for students with communication and swallowing disorders. I also conduct screenings, administer assessments (under supervision), and collaborate with the SLP and other school staff to support students' communication goals.
