- Responsible to gather requirements, having discussions on design architectures, implementation by closely coordinating with Product Owners & Business Users and converting the requirements into Features, User Stories by including all the technical specifications which will have the acceptance criteria to make sure that we are developing and delivering the stories using Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Responsible to have live site service enhancement meetings and connect with respective service\operations teams towards driving the Live Site Reviews and corrective action plan, and facilitate service backlog discussions & stand-ups to establish appropriate prioritization of Live Site requirements.
- Responsible to work on incident analysis and problem management activities. Very close collaboration with engineering, solution delivery PMs, Operations, Service Desk and Release Management Teams towards driving any release activities successfully.
- Responsible to plan for system\instance migrations from On-Prem to Azure IaaS\PaaS\SaaS offerings and plan to leverage the newly available technologies or azure offerings and finding way towards implementing them by conducting POCs (Proof of Concept).
- Responsible in designing, optimizing, migrations and maintaining SQL Server Database Server Infrastructure in 24X7 environment. And also responsible in building\migrating database servers in multiple environments both clustered and standalone of SQL Server Versions. Worked in the environments (DEV, Test/QA and PROD) got built on Hyper-V machines and 8 node clusters. Troubleshooting application issues on a priority basis (Azure DevOps Task & Bug tracking).
- Responsible to work on setting high visibility monitoring systems are in place to act upon any issues per the set priorities using internal tools SCOM, SONAR, Application Insights, OMS (Operations Management Suite) etc.,
- Worked on analyze database performance with SQL query manager, performance tuning, DTA, Query Plans, PERFMON and Optimized indexes to significantly improve performance of the queries. Worked on creating reports performance of all indexes on a weekly basis to make sure team can understand the unused objects details to determine the impact analysis which may help in improving job run times etc.,
- Worked on configuring High Availability & Disaster Recovery exercise options like SQL Server Replications, Always ON, Log Shipping and Database Mirroring between servers from Production Server to Bay Servers (Disaster Recovery Servers) in our space.
