Experience in performing different types of Backups, Restore and Recovery models. Experience in scheduled Jobs, Tasks, Alerts and Maintenance Plans. Upgrading the SQL Server (2005, 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2014,2016) and applying patches. Migration of databases from one server to another server [2005, 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2014,2016]. Experience in high availability SQL Server solutions, which include Log shipping, Always on, Clustering and Mirroring. Good knowledge on Always on. Having good knowledge on SQL Server clustering. Provide 24x7 DBA production support, work with DBA team for production on call support rotation.

• Setting up new SQL Servers 2005, 2008, 2012, 2014,2016,2017 ,2019and configuring the required users.
• Installing SQL Server service packs based on the errors and flaws that are found in the application.
• Refresh database into different environments
• Created users at the database levels and server levels and assigned the appropriate permissions as per the Requests.
• Working with DBCC commands.
• Moving the Databases from one server to another server.
• Performance tuning lock, blocking, deadlock
• Daily checking always on health report
• Configuring and monitoring the database Mirroring.
• Configuring and monitoring the Log Shipping.
• Check event viewer and Sql server error logs.
• Daily attended calls & meetings.
