Developing strong relationships between campers as well as between camper and counselor are some of my strengths I have had extensive experience working and understanding kids and this will help to create age wide events at this organization. Also being able to mediate conflicts in a way that benefits both parties is one of my strengths as well and can stretch beyond one age group. My creative abilities include being able to create art. One of my passions is creating art in all forms from digital, to paintings, to chalk, to pencil. My main passion is to continue creating and learning about art and being able to identify how cultural background influences art worldwide in the past, present, and future. Additionally, my event planning and facilitation skills also play a huge role in my professional identity as I created the first ever Pride event at Friends Academy in recent history which helped to create a safe space for LGBTQIA+ peers as well as allies.

Mainly practice with techniques of fine art, mainly continuous projects.
- My accomplishment in creating the first Pride event at Friends Academy is one of my most favored because of the fact that it taught me how to organize much bigger events and its success was truly one of the best accomplishments I've had. The attendance totaled over 20 people which is major for my high school which has a total of over 200 people. Additionally, it being the first event came with many obstacles such as the school in general not being open to pride at all.
- The Black Student Alliance at Friends Academy is also one of the more "eventful" groups, and I played a role in numerous events. These include multiple lunch and learns which discuss numerous achievements of black individuals as well as current events. For example, we discussed the cultural implications of Beyoncés 'Already' music video, as well as the implications in Kendrick Lamar's halftime show. Both showcase a message about the pride in African and African American culture. Additionally, I also helped with the Divine Nine Friends Academy event which showcased Divine Nine/D9 sororities and Fraternities which are famously known for being home to numerous black athletes, artists, and political figures such as Kamala Harris and Michael Jordan. The event also spoke about HBCUs and the overall experience black people have had transitioning from a predominantly non black highschool to a Historically Black College University.
- Harlem School of the Arts' college preparatory program is home to many talented artists across all fields. The program is invite only and is extended to individuals at HSA with exceptional art ability. I was asked to join in my 8th grade year and stayed through freshman year. The program allows students to take classes in animation, mural art, comic creation, and many more. The main achievement however, is being scouted and accepted into the program is it is reserved for the best artists in the school.
