FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: Audited the personnel/pay records of up to 600 reservists and active duty personnel located in 22 outlying units to ensure accuracy and consistency with established procedures, pay documents were submitted to Coast Guard pay center. Verified 300 plus per diem advance requests and order amendments for active duty and reservists. Corrected severe pay discrepancies for 61 reservists, and provided financial counseling to junior enlisted personnel coping with indebtedness and financial difficulties, resulted in reduction of junior sailors that attended non judicial punishment for indebtedness by 42%.
