Charine Chan

• Assisted with setting up the facility for a mini art show, gaining hands-on experience in exhibition setup and event coordination
• Explored new art mediums and techniques through internship activities (printmaking basics and gallery setup with basic math/geometry application)

• Contributed to a group mural project with RYSE members and employees for the new building. The mural was based on the idea of uniting people of different backgrounds and teamwork.

Through this experience, I was able to:

1) Observe and adopt others’ processes to improve my art making process

2) Improve my collaborative skills through working with artists from different backgrounds, techniques, and experiences

ART 619: Exhibition Design

• Participated in the setup and takedown of artwork for two exhibitions as part of the Exhibition Design class
• Juried artworks for the school’s 36th Stillwell Student Exhibition and had my artwork to be a part of it.
