My responsibility is to oversee all food and beverage outlets. Day-to-day managing the restaurant, the inside bar, the tiki bar, the beverage cart, the coffee shop and the banquet department.
- Oversee selection, ordering and inventory of all beverage products including beer, wine, liquor, mixers, etc.
- Streamline processes within the department to increase overall productivity while maintaining quality standards.
- Oversee daily financial transactions, including cash handling procedures, revenue tracking, and daily check postings.
- Complete weekly payroll, including pooled serviced charges and proper labor allocations.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills while managing multiple projects for multiple outlets.
- Use critical thinking to break down problems, evaluate solutions and make necessary decisions.
- Handle escalated customer concerns with speed to achieve optimal satisfaction.
- Oversee catering services for special events, coordinating logistics and staffing needs to ensure seamless execution of functions.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust purchasing decisions accordingly in all outlets.
- Evaluate employee performance regularly, providing constructive feedback and disciplinary actions as required.
- Motivate staff to perform at peak efficiency and quality.
- Manage multi-department staff effectively, facilitating clear communication between catering staff, servers, bartenders, and support staff.
- Spearhead regular maintenance needs.
- Continuously assess operational procedures; identify areas for improvement and implement any necessary changes accordingly.
- Maintain accurate financial records, monitoring budget constraints while still delivering exceptional guest experience.
- Manage staff schedules and maintain adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Create and execute successful policies to improve restaurant outlet performance.
