• Dribble for Victory Over Cancer - UCLA Women's Basketball, 2019, 2023, Participated in the annual Drible for Victory Over Cancer event, which partners with the V Foundation to help raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer research., Helped organize an original social media campaign and outreach that generated one of the highest donation totals across teams participating throughout the country., Cultivated connection with families during the social event hour through uplifting and meaningful conversation.
• Team Impact - UCLA Women's Basketball, 2022, 2023, Facilitated meaningful connection as a mentor to a family supported through Team Impact., Helped organize and participate in activities and events on a monthly basis.
• MTAD Back to School Drive, 08/2022, Spearheaded a back-to-school drive that donated more than 400 backpacks filled with school supplies to kids in Compton, CA.
• More Than a D.R.E.A.M, 06/2020, 09/2022, More Than A DREAM (MTAD) was founded in 2020 by six African American student-athletes who were/are a part of the UCLA Women's Basketball team in direct response to the murder of George Floyd during the summer of 2020., The initiative of the program strived to be at the cornerstone of change as we advance towards a world that embodies true equality. This centered around the ongoing commitment to sculpting a new culture in which everyone feels safe, seen, and heard regardless of race, identity or background., Provided administrative oversight of all community service events and planning during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic., Monthly Program Initiatives:, - Recycling: Collect, sort, and redeem recycling from campus to fund families adopted by the UCLA Women's Basketball Program., - Salvation Army: Adopting a family, visiting, and building a relationship with family members.
