Parent Child Program Director/Coordinator of my The Little Gym Montclair.

This program I directed is based off the #1 Parent Child program in the Country.

Through fun,

creativity, music, and movement I am able to teach children social, emotional and physical development.

I’ve learned all

aspects of growth and milestones in children 4 months all the way to 12 years of

age.

I have gained so much knowledge through this journey and blessed I can

pass this information on to other children and families through a wonderful 3-

dimensional and AAP developmental milestone-based program..

• Arrived at home 9:00 am to care for a family of four children- boy (8) special needs/ nonverbal, boy (6), girl (2) special needs.
• Day to day schedule changes a bit with family due to unique needs of each child and what they are doing that day.
• Extremely flexible and open with whatever changes the family needs throughout the day. During the school year general schedule is morning activities with the youngest girl (2)- this includes morning walks, park, library, reading, educational play.
• Bring youngest child to speech therapy appointment/occupational therapy- talk over sessions with her therapists and relay progress/messages to the family. Work on therapists techniques with the child to help them developmentally grow. In house therapist visit weekly where I sit in on sessions/ work with the therapist and baby for an hour.
• Relay any progress/messages to family.
• Cook light lunch assist in feeding. Nap trained baby (2). Read/Sing assist in putting baby down for nap/ half hour checks.
• Light laundry for children if needed during nap.
• Assist boys in after school structure like putting away backpack/lunch box, putting shoes/clothes away. Light afternoon snack for all the kids.
• Structured after school play or activity for the (crafts, reading, sorting game etc.) Summer schedule is flexible- assist in drop off and pick up for any activities for boys with multiples if needed.
• Care for all kids throughout the day- keeping busy with summer activities such as water play, park, creative play. Occasional date night care- bed time routine with children (brushing teeth, pajamas, story time etc.)

• Greet students in classroom with director due to COVID restrictions. Aid in lesson planning weekly following STEM education.
• Conduct milestone documentation/ progress reports weekly for each student individually. Prep fun and inviting bulletin boards for STEM Education in the classroom.
• Set up lunch/snack; assist in feeding if needed. Prep for nap time/put children to sleep/15 minute checks.
• Diaper changes throughout the day. Potty training. Kept up to date documentation on each child's activities/ diaper changes/ nap/ snack through out the day and notified parents (via app provided by school).
• Keep and upbeat, fun and strict lesson plan for the children to keep them motivated. Interactive play, sensory, blocks, puzzles, etc.

• Arrive at home 12:00 noon. cared for a family of two twin boys (7) one older girl (9) and one younger girl (4).
• Upon arrival provide a small/snack or lunch if needed.
• main goal for this family was caring for youngest daughter (4). Outside play with neighbors during the day/aiding in play dates; taking the kids to the park.
• Inside play consisted of dolls, house, kitchen, pretend play, dress up etc. along side educational block building, sensory play, reading, singing etc.
• Twin boys would come home after activities and would also be included in outside play/inside play.
• Assist the oldest daughter in virtual learning/ tutoring when needed. Evenings would include care of all four children
• . Cook light dinner occasionally.
• Bath time/ duties/ prepping for bedtime. Occasional late night sitting includes bed time routine; putting children to sleep for the evening.

• Arrived at home 10:00 AM. In home help while both parents work from home.
• Set up a lesson plan for remote learning three days a week, interactive play, tutoring, babysitting.
• Intervals of 30-minute sit down learning/30 minute interactive play. Extra help after tutoring hours for babysitting. Hands on help, keeping toddler busy and having fun while staying at home.

• Welcome Parents/children upon arrival in and upbeat and friendly manner.
• Manage classrooms in the absence of assigned teacher. Set rules for the classroom.
• Work with other staff members to schedule/plan new activities for students to engage in.
• Assist in screenings with parents about child's progress and areas of concern.
• Assist in screenings to measure students' language, motor skills, emotional development etc.
• prepare bulletin boards, classroom materials and individual student portfolios.
• Work to create appropriate lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum. Attend extra courses to gain knowledge on teaching.

• Welcomed Parents/children upon arrival in an upbeat/friendly manner.
• Manage classrooms in the absence of assigned teacher. Set rules. Work with staff on lesson planning/curriculum.
• Set up snacks/lunches. Prep for nap time. Diaper changes throughout the day. Kept up to date documentation on each child's activities/ diaper changes/ nap/ snack through out the day and notified parents (via app provided by school).
• Keep and upbeat, fun and strict lesson plan for the children to keep them motivated. Interactive play, sensory, blocks, puzzles, etc. Prepare bulletin boards and classroom materials.

• Arrived at home 6:00 AM while mom was still in home prepping for work and letting me know plans for the day.
• Assist in getting children ready for school. Help with small breakfast/snack. Make sure bags are packed/ready for school each day.
• Drop off twin boys at elementary school, older sister at middle school.
• Pick up twins from boys/girl club, sister from after school program. Help in getting ready for sports/ after school activities; drop off or stay.

• Welcome Parents/children upon arrival in an upbeat and friendly manner.
• Manage after school program classrooms in the absence of assigned teacher. Implemented rules in classrooms between Toddler-PreK. Interactive play. Outside play.
