Work History

Voter Educator

Center for Civic and Public Policy Improvement
Houston, TX
08.2025 - 11.2025
  • Working as a part-time independent contractor with Houston Justice. One of the goals is to increase Civic and Community Engagement in our community. We help plan Community Dinners, and GOTV events in the community with the goal of increasing voter turnout and awareness of what the roles are of different elected officials. The goal is to identify community events to engage and reach low-propensity voters about issues affecting the community. I also worked as a Voter Educator Contractor from August 2022 - November 2022, and August 2023 - November 2023. We were successful in meeting our target goals each year.

Community Ambassador Consultant

Ford Momentum Inc.
Houston, TX
06.2024 - 10.2024
  • Worked as an Independent Contractor for Ford Momentum Company on the SE Management MOVE Project. I successfully conducted outreach activities to engage the residents in the community. For example, I prepared and distributed a survey that requested to know how residents moved around in the community and the city, and any concerns they might have to enhance their community. I was given a 60-day deadline to complete the project. I successfully developed and executed public relations plans to improve visibility by attending community meetings, senior citizen retirement centers, and civic club meetings. As a result, I was successful in exceeding the goals of getting 100 surveys completed which resulted in the people having a voice in their community, as well as improvements in their neighborhoods.
