By being in the food industry for almost 2 years, I am handed different situations that require new approaches. I prioritize customer-satisfaction, as I understand how it is like on the other side of the register. I intend to treat all people with kindness and patience, knowing that communication can be a tricky task. I volunteered with organizations such as JCSD, Feeding America, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, etc., which helped strengthen my ability to be patient, attentive and detail-oriented.
My position is cashier and server. I take and pack orders while serving dine-in customers. Every night, I maintain the store's appearance, including restocking and bathroom maintenance. For any issues regarding orders, I became well-trained in contacting our partnering brands such as DoorDash and UberEats, which helped improve my communication skills.
I supervised, mentored, encouraged, and taught young kids how to swim different strokes. I developed leadership skills from this experience and learned how to manage my time more efficiently when creating daily lesson plans.
